The product development of the RRC Flatpaqs is funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
The aim of the project is to meet the demands of the market for extremely flat and robust battery packs and to create a battery family that, due to its design, enables completely new fields of application.
Since the structure of the Flatpaqs with prismatic cells differs significantly from previous technology, a considerable development effort must be made to provide the flat battery packs with suitable external protection mechanisms. For the future development of medical devices/industrial applications, the Flatpaqs offer completely new possibilities.
The product development of the RRC Battery Pack Manager is funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
The Battery Pack Manager project is about harnessing distributed batteries in systems with high availability (e.g. redundancy requirements) and runtime requirements - this is particularly relevant for small to medium sized robots.
