At RRC, we are committed to our social responsibility in the context of our worldwide corporate activities. This applies in particular to working conditions, social and environmental compatibility as well as transparency, trusting cooperation and dialogue.
Our Code of Conduct is based on a common understanding of socially responsible corporate governance. As a German battery manufacturer, we take responsibility by considering the consequences of our business decisions and actions in economic, technological, social, and ecological terms and by achieving an appropriate balance of interests.
At RRC, we want to contribute voluntarily to the well-being and sustainable development of global society at the locations where we operate. In doing so, we are guided by universally accepted ethical values and principles, particularly integrity, probity, and respect for human dignity.
In line with the relevant UN Convention, we reject all forms of corruption and bribery. We promote transparency, integrity, responsible management, and control in the company in an appropriate manner.
We pursue clean and recognized business practices and fair competition. In competition, we align ourselves with professional conduct and quality work. We maintain a cooperative and trusting relationship with the supervisory authorities.
We demand and promote compliance with the necessary occupational health and safety measures and the prevention of work-related health hazards.
We respect the right to freedom of expression, freedom of association, and collective bargaining.
We reject all forms of child, forced, and compulsory labor, as well as modern slavery and human trafficking.
We offer equal opportunities for all and do not tolerate discrimination based on ethnic or national affiliation, gender, religion, ideology, age, disability, sexual orientation, skin color, political views, or social origin.
As a company, we bear responsibility for the environmental compatibility and sustainability of our products, locations, and services. We rely on environmentally compatible, advanced, and efficient technologies and implement them throughout the entire life cycle of our products. Already during development and production, we pay attention to the careful use of natural resources, a continuous reduction of environmental impacts, and compliance with environmental protection laws and regulations.
We have set ourselves the task of dispensing with so-called conflict raw materials in all parts and components used as well as in manufacturing and thus in all our products. We comply with the Dodd-Frank Act with regard to the use of tin, tantalum, tungsten and gold. We use the latest version of the Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT) of the Responsible Minerals Initiative to confirm the compliance of all our products. The CMRT is available as an Excel file in our download section.

Only materials that are properly collected and disposed of can be recycled professionally and are thus not wasted in the resource cycle. On our FAQ page, we have compiled various recommendations for the correct disposal of batteries, equipment, and packaging.
